New House, Wootton Bridge, Isle of Wight:
This feasibility study for a spacious three/four bedroomed house involves the subdivision of a large residential plot where the existing house and a garage are to remain. The new house, located to the North of the site, consists of three pitched roofed elements enclosing a central, South facing, landscaped courtyard. The West wing comprises the garage, master bedroom suite and study. The central glazed link contains the main entrance, the stair and a guest living room. The East wing comprises at ground floor level, two guest bedroom suites, a utility room and a plant room. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is located at first floor level, where fine views of Wootton Creek to the East may be enjoyed. Many sustainable systems including a photovoltaic array and an MVHR unit will be incorporated.
